Please note that with the opening of terminal 3 at Malaga Airport the access to the airports has changed. So if you have not been to Malaga for a few years you might want to take note of the following information.
Where to park at Malaga Airport
There are a wide range of car parking facilities at Malaga Airport from the short stay car park directly opposite the airport itself, to the long stay car parks located a very short mini bus ride away. Whichever car parking you choose you will find that in the majority of cases it is far cheaper than other European airports, especially when compared to the UK.

P1 – Malaga Airport
This is located just a couple of minutes from the main terminal building and is easily access by foot.
Cost per minute from 0 to 30 minutes – 0.021584€ (that’s a fraction over 2 cents per minute) example 30 minutes car parking at P1 Malaga Airport will cost 0.647€ (about 65 cents)
Cost per minute from 31 minutes to 60 minutes the tariff is 0.034175€ example for 45 minutes car parking it would be 0.647€ (30 minutes parking) plus 0.512€ (15 minutes at the above tariff) equating to 1.159€
Cost per minutes from 61 minutes to a maximum daily charge of 18.30€ is 0.027779.
The maximum daily charge of 18.30€ is for a maximum of 4 days, after which it reduces to 14.65€
Current capacity of the P1 car parking at Malaga Airport is 2,500 with 50 spaces for reduced mobility
P2 – Malaga Airport

P3 – Malaga Airport
PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO THE EXPANSION OF MALAGA AIRPORT AND THE NEW TERMINAL, P3 IS NOW CLOSED (from January 2010) and is now the location of the long term car parking operated by Empark (www.parkandboard.com)
If you need long term parking facilities, this is a great option as it is the official airport long term parking and is still relatively cheap. They provide free courtesy coach to and from the terminal and there is a hotline phone as you walk through the arrivals, beofre you exit to the lounge.
