Barcelona Airport Departures Information Guide

When you arrive at Barcelona Airport for your flight departures you should have checked first to see which terminal your flight is departing from. The check in desks and clearly signposted in each terminal so if you are not able to check in online or have luggage to check in, find your desk via the screens and the proceed to the security checks.

If your Barcelona flight departures are from Terminal 1 (T1) you will find the check in desks located on level 3. If you are using the Barcelona-Madrid Air Shuttle then you will find its own check in area located to the north of T1.

If your Barcelona flight departures are from Terminal 2 (T2) you will find the check in areas split up in to areas A,B and C.

Once checked in you should have been advised of your boarding zone area, if not it will be written on the boarding pass itself. In T1 there are actaully five different boarding zones indicated by A,B,C,D and E.

T2 has six zones with a slightly different number scheme in order to avoid confusion, M-0, M-1, M-2, M-3, M-4 y M-5
