Being one of the most popular and busiest holiday resorts in Spain it is no wonder that many people automatically search for Marbella Airport or Airports in Marbella. Sadly there is no airport, but don’t despair, Malaga Airport is a mere 45 minutes away to the east and Gibraltar Airport about 45 minutes in the other direction.

Our recommendation if you were looking for Marbella Airport is to use Malaga, especially as it has undergone a massive expansion which now doubles the number of passengers catered for. There are also more dailty flights in and out than Gibraltar giving you more choice of airports to fly from and flight times.

How to get to Marbella from Malaga Airport

Marbella is connected by road via the A7 / AP7 and journey time by car is about 50 minutes (central Marbella / Puerto Banus). Of course East Marbella such as Cabopino, Elviria and Las Chapas is much nearer to the airport and will take about 30 minutes by car.
